Clinical Psychologist
BSc (Hons), DClinPsy

About Me
I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist who works predominantly with adults aged 18+. Alongside my private practice, I have worked for the NHS since 2013, and I currently work as a senior clinician within highly specialist NHS services. I work with a range of psychological presentations, including anxiety, low mood, trauma-related difficulties (including PTSD and complex PTSD), hearing voices, intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviours, grief, low self-esteem, interpersonal difficulties, and difficulties which might attract a diagnosis of personality disorder. Furthermore, I also work with people who just wish to get to know themselves a little better, and explore how experiences in their life may have influenced their patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving. People come to therapy for a wide range of reasons and this is not an exhaustive list. Please do get in touch to discuss your own individual requirements.
In addition to my therapeutic work, I frequently deliver training and consultation to a broad range of agencies, including staff working in the health, social care and education sectors, as well as Police Scotland and the Scottish Prison Service. I have previously worked as an Associate Lecturer with the Open University, and I regularly lecture and supervise trainees on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme at the University of Glasgow. I also regularly undertake expert witness work, and can provide reports to the court for both civil and criminal cases.
